Working at Salem Five for four years has been an incredible journey. I started my career here as a Junior Commercial Loan Underwriter fresh out of college, not knowing exactly what to expect. From day one, Salem Five welcomed me with open arms and provided a supportive environment that encouraged both learning and growth. I was promoted to Commercial Loan Underwriter, a role that allowed me to take on more responsibilities and deepen my understanding of commercial credit. The continuous support and guidance from my managers played a crucial role in my development. Most recently, I was promoted to Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager. This new role has been an exciting step in my career, allowing me to contribute even more to the commercial division. Salem Five has provided me with countless opportunities to learn and grow, and I am grateful for the trust and confidence they have placed in me.

I came aboard at Salem Five Bank in 2019 as a first-time banker. After 2 years in the bank, I was interested in moving to another branch of Salem Five. I expressed this interest to my Manager, who was able to get me meetings with the Mortgage Department and Insurance Department. After speaking at length with influential figures in both arenas, I felt like Commercial Insurance made the most sense for me. My Manager at the bank, and here in Insurance, made the transition very easy. I was given the tools, time, and guidance to pass my licensing exams within the first couple months, while learning on the fly. I have an amazing team that has mentored and assisted me, while learning this new trade. I have moved from Jr Account Manager to Account Manager, and now to Assistant Team Leader, and plan on continuing this insurance journey here at Salem Five Insurance.
